Four steps to a measurement you trust
Charge it
Plug in the USB-C cable. A full charge takes a couple of hours and lasts for weeks of normal use.
Pull the tape
Extend it to your mark. The tape locks itself in position so nothing creeps while you read.
Read the screen
The measurement appears on the LCD in your chosen units. Press to store it in memory.
Line up the cut
Switch on the laser to project a straight guide line, then mark and cut with both hands free.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it still work as a normal tape measure?
Yes. It is a 16.4 ft steel tape with printed markings, so if the battery is flat you can still use it exactly like any other tape measure. The screen and laser are additions, not replacements.
How long does a charge last?
Weeks of normal use for most people. It charges over USB-C with the included cable, so you can top it up from the same charger as your phone or a power bank on site.
Can I read it in metric?
Yes. It switches between feet and inches, inches alone, and metric, so you can work in whichever your drawings use.
Is the laser bright enough outdoors?
The green line is easy to see indoors and in shade. In direct sunlight it washes out, which is true of any line laser in this class, so for bright outdoor work you will want to use the tape markings.
What if it stops working?
Send it back within 30 days for a full refund, no restocking fee. If you add the lifetime warranty at checkout, we replace it free for as long as you own it when it fails under normal use.
